LOL! Thanks for the lounge lizard vocal Steve. Looks like it’s time to upgrade from EX.

  • Moexmusic:

The dance demo reminds of Bloodhound Gang the bad touch song

  • Harrysound:

is there any easy drum maps included? like a GM map or addictive drums map?

  • stakleni00:

Really dig that Eartha (drum) Kitt, Bill Murray vocal vibrato, Steven! LOL
Seriously, what a beautifully thought out virtual instrument, and excellent presentation to boot.
BUT…what about showcasing the (don’t shoot me) COUNTRY kit?
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah to all.

  • gusaragao:

When you buy this kit, Steven Slate comes to your house and makes you do pushups. Call now and get “hip-hop abs” as a bonus gift.

  • AttackingTheMindTV:

Excited to try out the electronic kits!

  • MrJasonMorin:

    Excellent Job !

  • N3Z3Official:

I’m on my ass! I want it but I can’t afford :( for long time.
This one will bite Superior drummer hard :D . But is there possible to get dry samples too for own processing?

  • SteinbergSoftware:

Using Nuendo 5 as a host… Sweet! *high five*

  • FunnyVideoCollector:

Does SSD 4 EX have new samples or does it use the old samples
    ?

  • ATOMOSOUND:

    1:30 drummer’s time

  • TheMrchrisk76:

The new kits sound pretty good (I would have prefered Glen Sobel demonstrating them). Does anybody know if SSD 4 offers cymbal chokes and foot splashes?

  • oldrockrock:

New kits sound AMAZING. This is by far the best drum instrument by leaps and bounds, it slaughters everything else I’ve used. I just put Rock Kit 1 in a mix, added some top to the snare and kick, compressed them a bit, and even my wife noticed that my band’s mix sounded more pro. Wonderful job Slate. And love the crooning at 11:00!!!

  • blica1:

the most authentic sounding kit to me would be the 70″s kits…but i guess it depends on the eq-ing, the tuning, and mic placements..great sounding kits never the less !

  • DRockdriguez23:

    I need this!

  • itowedin:

What’s with the samurai stance the guy takes after every drum take?

  • girotube:

SO WHEN ROLAND – YAMAHA and ALESIS are going to wake up and smell the drum shell..?
We spend $2k on the E-drums but they come with garbage drum kits…
WE never use the stuff from the module hahaha! The module should be able to load this VSTi.. I want SSD 4.0 Got to find out about the update..

THumbs up for NUENDO 5 Steven… my DAW!!!.

WHAT THE, you are singing too!?? hahahaha mmmh! auto-tune.. Nah!

    Merry Christmas!!!

  • ransisua:

The ending is epic. Steve, no explanation about the cymbal choke? I hope you already fix it.

  • mimoocho:

does this have dance grooves as well? I’m not a drum programmer , but could with some decent dance beats. I know it’s got dance kits but I assume grooves (midi files ) are included as well?

  • zlippery1:

    haha samurai pose!!!
